Profialu

The company website of an aluminium joinery manufacturer, moved off WordPress onto Astro running on Cloudflare Workers. 23 pages migrated in a single day, with no CMS behind them: content is edited through an AI chat that opens a pull request.

The challenge

A WordPress site costs a manufacturer something every month: plugin updates, hosting, a security surface somebody has to watch, and a mobile experience slow enough to lose visitors before the first product photo appears. Profialu scored 82 on mobile Lighthouse with a Speed Index of 5.4 seconds, and most of that weight was uncompressed photography.

Our approach

We mirrored the live site, then rebuilt all 23 pages as static Astro output served from Cloudflare Workers, keeping URLs and metadata so nothing already earned in search had to be won back. Images were re-encoded and sized to how they are actually used on the page. The CMS was removed rather than replaced: an edit goes through an AI chat that writes the change as a pull request, which is reviewed and deployed, so there is no admin panel and no update cycle to maintain.

The outcome

Mobile Lighthouse went from 82 to 95 and Speed Index from 5.4 seconds to 0.8 seconds, with image payload down 95 percent. The full migration of 23 pages ran in one day, and profialu.pl is live with no CMS, no plugins and nothing to patch.
